Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to develop learning tools by using social inquiry model to improve critical thinking skills and cooperate students in grade IV Primary School. This research was conducted at SDN Tanah Kalikedinding VI addressed at JL. Pogot no. 57 Surabaya with the subject of research is 35 students of class IVA and IVB academic year 2017/2018. Development of learning tools following the ADDIE design from Mollenda and Reiser (2016) ie Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate. The research design used pretest-posttest control group design. Learning devices are said to be worthy of use if they meet the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the implementation. To obtain the result of validity of learning device using validation sheet, practicality using observation sheet RPP and obstacle, while for effectiveness using critical thinking skill test, cooperative observation sheet, student activity and student response sheet. Where the greater the percentage of targets achieved, the higher the effectiveness. Based on the results of data analysis from the description of the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the implementation of learning tools described, generally it can be concluded that the development of social learning tools oriented social inquiry can improve critical thinking skills and work together grade IV primary school students significantly.
