Abstract
In recent years, Indonesian Cooperatives have been involved in scandals that has led to bankruptcy. The impact are on the economy and trust in the Indonesian Cooperative. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the problems of the Cooperative so that will no longer experience failure. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The Visualizing scientific landscapes (VOSviewer) analysis tool has been used to map based on network data. The research data was obtained from primary data (interviews and group discussion forums) and secondary data derived from literature review. Based on the results from VOSviewer for cooperative items, it is known that cooperatives are always associated with human resource, members, savings and loans and development. Further research on the problems items of savings and loan cooperatives originating from VOSviewer results that savings and loan items relating to banks, bad loans and Indonesia. The result of savings and loan cooperatives are associated with officers, organization, residual income, capital and factor analysis. Further developments derived from literature review, interviews and group discussion forums are in line with the results of VOSviewer. The problems faced by savings and loan cooperatives are human resources, institutions, capital, membership, competition, digitization and the absence of a deposit insurance institution. Based on these problems, the parties are expected to be able to start playing their roles more intensively so that they can survive and excel. The solutions for savings and loans cooperatives are training and developing human resources, digitalization, networking and differentiation. The government needs to build a deposit guarantee institution for cooperatives so that the bankruptcy of cooperatives does not lead into systemic risk. If the reforms are successful, then cooperatives will be superior and become the pillars of the Indonesian economy.
