Abstract
This research paper tackles the pressing issue of managing industrial waste in the logistics sector, which remains a complex and serious problem in cities worldwide. It investigates how Information Technology (IT) and the management of Information Systems (MIS) can be utilized to address this challenge. The primary goal is to explore how integrating IT and MIS can reduce industrial waste. The research uses a quantitative method with a stratified random sampling technique to collect data from logistics companies. The study results show significant connections between waste production and various social, technical, and financial factors. Additionally, the research emphasizes the significance of technology in promoting sustainability and operational efficiency in the logistics industry. These findings provide valuable insights into how the industry can evolve and align with environmental and economic objectives.
