KLOROFIL DAUN TREMBESI (Samanea saman) DI HUTAN MALABAR MALANG PADA MUSIM BERBEDA

Abstract


Abstract This study aims to determine the chlorophyll content of Trembesi leaves in the urban forest of Malabar, Malang city. This type of descriptive quantitative research. The research was conducted in the Malabar City Forest as a sampling place and at the Biology Laboratory of Muhammadiyah University of Malang to test the chlorophyll content of leaves, from April to October 2020. Data analysis used averages with the help of Microsoft Excel. The research was conducted in three stages, namely surveying the research location, taking samples of each leaf, and laboratory testing. Laboratory test procedures, namely weighing each leaf sample as much as 0.3 grams of mashed and dissolved using 80% acetone, filtering using filter paper and testing using a spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 645λ and 663λ to get the absorbance value. The results of the absorbance value were included in the formula equation to determine the total chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and chlorophyll content of each leaf sample. The results showed that there were 11 tamarind trees. In the summer, the average content of chlorophyll a was 33.725 µg / ml, chlorophyll b was 24.028 µg / ml, and total chlorophyll was 57.8 µg / ml. In the rainy season the average chlorophyll a content was 31.64 µg / ml, chlorophyll b was 16.20 µg / ml, and total chlorophyll a was 47.83 µg / ml. The difference in leaf chlorophyll content is due to physical and chemical factors in different seasons.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan klorofil daun Trembesi di hutan kota Malabar kota Malang. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Hutan kota Malabar sebagai tempat pengambilan sampel dan di Laboratorium Biologi Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang untuk menguji kandungan klorofil daun,  mulai bulan April sampai Oktober 2020. Analisis data menggunakan rata-rata dengan bantuan mikrosoft excel. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan yaitu survei lokasi penelitian, pengambilan sampel masing-masing daun, dan pengujian laboratorium. Prosedur uji Laboratorium yaitu penimbangan masing-masing sampel daun sebanyak 0,3 gram dihaluskan dan dilarutkan menggunakan aceton 80%, penyaringan menggunakan kertas saring dan pengujian menggunakan alat spektrofotometer pada panjang gelombang 645λ dan 663λ untuk mendapatkan nilai absorbansi. Hasil nilai absorbansi dimasukkan pada persamaan rumus untuk mengetahui kandungan klorofil a, klorofil b, dan klorofil total masing-masing sampel daun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 11 pohon trembesi, pada musim panas daun trembesi rerata kandungan klorofil a sebesar 33,725 µg/ml, klorofil b 24,028 µg/ml, dan klorofil total 57,8 µg/ml. Pada musim penghujan rerata kandungan klorofil a sebesar 31,64 µg/ml, klorofil b 16,20 µg/ml, dan klorofil total 47,83 µg/ml. Perbedaan kandungan klorofil daun disebabkan faktor fisika dan kimia pada musim yang berbeda.
