ABSTRACT

Maternal mortality due to complications was recorded at 80% due to obstetrics such as bleeding, abortion, infection, prolonged labor, pre-eclampsia and 20% indirectly such as late treatment, anemia, lack of chronic energy (KEK), malaria and heart disease affect an maternal health.  Health promotion strategies are still important to reduce morbidity and mortality due to complications. The aim of the study to look at  the effectiveness of using online-based message forms as health promotion media, against of complications or complications during pregnancy. The analytical observational research design was occur in Tasikmadu district, Malang. The research sample that fits the inclusion and exclusion criteria is as many as 20 respondents from 53 pregnant and childbirth mothers who are willing and able to operate the online-based message forms. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Online distribution supported by infographic designs, information on rhymes and pregnancy education videos, questionnaire instruments for perceptions of the dangers of complications during pregnancy and childbirth. Data analysis in Chi-square test. The results of data analysis showed that the distribution of information using mobile technology (mHealth) was effective in understanding complications of pregnancy (p<0.05). Media in the form of online-based messages has proven to be useful as a healthy information with increasing awareness of mothers in early detection of complication during pregnancy and childbirth.

ABSTRAK

Kematian Ibu Hamil akibat komplikasi tercatat sebesar 80% disebabkan Obstetri seperti pendarahan, abortus, terjadi infeksi, partus lama, pra eklamsi dan sebesar 20% terjadi secara tidak langsung akibat keterlambatan penanganan, anemia, kurang energi kronik (KEK), malaria dan penyakit jantung berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan ibu.  Strategi  promosi  kesehatan masih penting dilakukan untuk penurunan morbiditas dan mortalitas akibat komplikasi. Tujuan penelitian untuk melihat efektivitas penggunaan bentuk pesan berbasis online sebagai  media  promosi  kesehatan, terhadap komplikasi atau penyulit selama kehamilan. Rancangan penelitian observasional analitik dilakukan di Kelurahan Tasikmadu Kota Malang. Sampel penelitian yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi yaitu sebanyak 20 responden dari 53 ibu hamil dan bersalin yang bersedia dan mampu mengoperasikan whats app. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara Purpossive Sampling. Penyebaran secara online yang didukung desain infografis, informasi pantun dan video edukasi kehamilan, Instrumen kuesioner persepsi tentang bahaya komplikasi selama kehamilan dan persalinan. Analisis data di uji Chi-square. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa informasi menggunakan teknologi mobile (mHealth) efektif terhadap pemahaman tentang komplikasi atau penyulit kehamilan (p<0.05). Media berbentuk pesan berbasis online terbukti bermanfaat sebagai media informasi kesehatan mampu meningkatkan kesadaran ibu dalam mendeteksi dini komplikasi selama kehamilan dan persalinan.
