Abstract
This article discusses the existence of the concept of multicultural education in madrasah. In its development multicultural education became one of the alternative solutions when social conflicts occurred in many countries, however, multicultural education did not escape the criticisms. The multicultural education can be a trigger for building students' inclusive attitudes. In the application of multicultural education in madrasah becomes important because madrasah is a manifestation of Islamic educational institutions, that have a strategic position in building students inclusive attitude. Madrasah is an educational institution that became a bridge between general education and religious education. This research is literature research. Research data obtained through literary data collection technique that is by collecting library materials from Islamic literature and western literature coherent with the object of research. At least three points in this article, first: the intersection of the concept of multicultural education and the concept of Islamic education, the second: the concept of multicultural education in madrasah to build students' inclusive attitudes; third: the conceptual framework of a comprehensive model of multicultural education in madrasah to build inclusive attitudes of students.
