THE FULLY FUNCTIONING PERSON: SURVEY OF STUDENTS PRE-SERVICE MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH TEACHERS

Abstract


In a social environment such as a university environment, students will be able to freely actualize themselves and achieve a fully functioning person. A fully functioning person is a person with optimal psychological adjustment, optimal psychological maturity, and has full involvement in the experience. This study aims to describe the profile of a fully functional human personality for students of the Madrasah Ibditaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) study program at the Islamic University of Malang. In this study using a survey research design by distributing questionnaires online. Furthermore, the data will be processed and analyzed descriptively. The results of the study showed that on average all indicators of fully functioning person in pre-service MI teacher students showed good or high criteria. The indicator of acquisition of experience is 79.61%; an indicator of a tendency towards an existential life of 75.12%; an indicator of trust in an item of 79.22%; constructive and reliable indicators of 83.33%; freedom of choice indicator of 84.48%; and creativity indicator of 81.53%.
