Abstract


Abstract: The experiential learning model is an experience-based learning model that places experience as the most important central part of the learner process that can be used to train students' critical thinking. Critical thinking skills is one of the abilities that must be developed for students in the learning process. By involving his experience students can learn more easily about something tangible and observable through the five senses so that students can develop their thinking skills. This research is a development research that aims to describe the quality (validity, practicality, and effectiveness) of supplement book. Subjects in this study fourth grade students of primary school. Before doing the learning by using experiential book based experiential learning model, students are given critical thinking skills test (pre-test) and after learning, students are given the same test (post-test) Data is analyzed using reliability test, homogeneity, normality, t-test, and n-gain. The conclusion of this research is that the development of supplement book with experiential learning model can effectively train critical thinking skill in elementary school.
