Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

  • Authors of the ICONIGC are required to submit articles related to Islamic Education.
  • Submitted manuscripts must match ICONIGC's article template.
  • Articles must present original work and, where appropriate, must contribute to significant contributions from others.
  • Manuscripts submitted to ICONIGC for review should not be accepted for publication elsewhere.
  • As an author, you must obtain permission if you want to display images, tables, or excerpts from other source texts.
  • The manuscript must contain various aspects of the scientific article in the following order: a) introduction, b) method, c) results and discussion, d) conclusion, e) bibliography.

    Submission Preparation Checklist

    1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
    2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
    3. All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca) are activated and ready to click.
    4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
    5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference.
    6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed track of the conference, authors' names are removed from submission, with "Author" and year used in the bibliography and footnotes, instead of authors' name, paper title, etc.
    7. If submitting to peer review, all Microsoft Office documents (including Supplementary Files) have been saved by going to File and selecting Save As; clicking Tools (or Options in a Mac); clicking Security; selecting "Remove personal information from file properties on save"; clicking Save.

    Authors attending this conference agree to the following:
    a) Authors retain copyright of their work, allowing the conference to  place unauthorized works under  the Creative Commons Attribution License,  which allows others to freely access, use, and share the work, with recognition of the authorship of the work and its initial presentation at this conference.
    b)Authors may license CC licenses and enter into separate additional contracts for non-exclusive distribution and subsequent publication of this work (e.g., publishing a revised version in a journal, posting it to an institution or publishing it in a book of early initial publications).
    c) In addition, content authors to post and share their work online (for example, in repository institutions or on their websites) at any time before and before the conference.
